Tech update: update your emergency contact details in-app
You can now update your emergency contact details in-app.
We always want you to feel safe while riding with Deliveroo. While accidents and emergencies are unusual, it’s important that we’re able to reach your emergency contact if we ever need to. Your emergency contact can be a family member or a friend.
To view and edit your details just:
- Log in to the Rider app
- Tap the menu button in the top left of your screen
- Tap your Rider ID in the lop left of your screen
- Tap ‘Change details or emergency contact info’
- Add/edit the contact name and contact phone number of your emergency contact
If you ever feel unsafe, or are involved in an accident and still able to use your phone, you can let us know by contacting the Rider Support team through the app or the Roo Community website.
In the case of an emergency, you should always call 112.
